In blazing sunshine the Beaufort Puppy Show saw visitors from far and wide come and see the young hounds being judged on their conformation, quality and movement under the expert eyes of judges Martin Scott and Nigel Peel MFH.

The "puppies" at this stage are fully grown young adults. They spend the first few months of their lives at the homes or farms of devoted "puppy walkers" being taught the early lessons in life - getting used to other animals and interacting with people all of which brings out their inherently friendly nature. This years winners were a doghound called Factor, walked by Mrs Janet Gardner and a bitch hound called Fabric walked by Mrs Gill Brack.
